‘Miral’ on Blu-ray and DVD July 12th

The Weinstein Company has announced that Miral is set to be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on July 12! The beautiful box-art of Freida as Miral can be seeen to your right. Below is the synopsis, bonus features and what some critics said of the movie. Be sure to buy it as soon as it hits the shelves on July 12. I know I will!

MIRAL is the story of a Palestinian girl coming of age amidst the war zone of the Israeli-Arab conflict — unflinchingly told through the perspective of Miral (Freida Pinto) herself. ‘Immortals’ Comic-Con 2011 Panel Info

Immortals will have its’ own panel at this year’s Comic-Con, and Freida Pinto will attend! An official press release with dates and guests have been released, and I’ve featured it below. ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ – UK Trailer HD Captures

I have added ten HD screen captures from the latest trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes, released by 20th Century Fox‘s UK division. It’s such an awesome trailer, with new scenes of Freida Pinto as the primatologist Caroline. I can’t get over how good this movie looks, or how stunning Freida is either for that matter! New ‘Immortals’ Trailer Coming on June 29

According to multiple sources, Relativity Media’s theatrical trailer for its highly-anticipated epic adventure Immortals will debut in theaters on Wednesday, June 29 with the opening of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, but audiences will be given a unique sneak preview through its innovative promotional partnership with Clear Channel Radio via its on-air and online network, as well as on iHeartRadio, its industry-leading digital radio service, which streams music from Clear Channel’s 750 digital radio stations from 150 cities.

On Monday, June 27, Ryan Seacrest will lead this effort by kicking off the Immortals trailer debut on his KIIS-FM radio show “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” to his audience in the 6:00 am hour and will also feature the trailer through his social media and digital platforms including: Facebook, Twitter and ryanseacrest.com. Seacrest will also tease the sneak preview on-air on Friday before Monday’s debut.

She was photographed by singer (and now photographer) Bryan Adams, striking the signature pose with her hand to her ear. I have added the beautiful picture to the gallery. You can also see it below. Freida truly is beautiful inside and outside.

‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ UK Trailer & Poster

UK news source The Sun has released a brand new poster for Rise of the Planet of the Apes as well as a new trailer. While the poster’s basically Ceasar and his uproar of monkeys, the trailer is fantastic. After watching it I’ve never been more excited to see the movie! It tells more of the story of the movie (and feature lots of new scenes with Freida too!), so be sure to check it out below. HD screen captures will be added next. For now – enjoy!

First Still from ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’

More new movie-pictures! The very first official still photo of Freida Pinto as Caroline in Rise of the Planet of the Apes has been released! It has Freida and James Franco’s characters in the midst of the big fight on the Golden Gate-bridge. Click on the preview below to see it in hi-res! The movie comes to theaters on August 5th.

Four New Character Posters from ‘Immortals’

This is kind of a follow-up to the previous post. Not only was the poster of Freida Pinto as Phaedra in Immortals released onto the Internet today – new posters of King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke), Stavros (Stephen Dorff) and Theseus (Henry Cavill) have found their way  here as well!
