At the fourth and final event for the day, Freida Pinto looked gorgeous in a black Ralph Lauren creation whilst walking the red carpet for the Trishna premiere. She truly looked incredible and positively glowing as she posed for photographers both outside the Vue West End and inside. Don’t you think?
More movie reports are expected to arrive soon, stay tuned for the first reactions!
And the BFI London Film Festival coverage continues! After attending the photocall, Freida Pinto and Trishna director Michael Winterbottom continued to promote the movie at a press conference. I have added 6 pictures from the event, held at the Vue West End in London, to the gallery. Check back later for pictures from the premiere!
To continue our BFI London Film Festival coverage, I have added pictures from the Trishna photocall Freida attended today. She was all-smiles as she posed for photographers next to the movie’s director Michael Winterbottom. Click on the previews below to see the photos in bigger size, as per usual. Stay tuned for more Pinto!
As previously mentioned, Freida Pinto is in London for the screening of Trishna at the annual BFI London Film Festival. Earlier today she was photographed during a portrait session, looking absolutely beautiful. I have added 12 pictures to the gallery, just click on the previews below to see all the photos.
Also, stay tuned for tons of more coverage from the film festival, coming in a few!
This is turning out to be quite an autumn for Freida! Not only is she featured in magazines such as Vogue and ELLE; but also on the cover of C Magazine‘s November issue! She looks stunning on the cover (seen to the right), which I have added to the gallery along with an image from the contents-section of the mag.
Hopefully more pictures from this photoshoot will turn up on the Internet asap! As soon as I can get my hands on a copy, I’ll add scans to the site as well. Stay tuned to Freida Pinto Fan for all the updates!
Another batch of production stills from Immortals – coming to theaters on 11.11.11! – has been unleashed on the Internet. Two of them feature Freida Pinto as the oracle Phaedra, and I have added them both in HQ to the gallery. With every piece of footage from this movie, I’m getting more and more excited! Be sure to click on the previews below to see both pictures in hi-res!
According to several Indian news sites, Freida Pinto has inked a two-year endorsement deal with a high fashion apparel brand worth $7 million.
She is expected to get $3.5 million a year, and “since it is a two year deal, it makes it a $7 million deal. In Indian rupees, it comes out to be approximately Rs.35 crore. It is higher than what any Indian female celebrity has ever been paid,” said a source close to the 27-year-old Indian model-turned-actress.
When contacted, Anirban Das Blah, managing director of KWAN (the agency that handles Freida’s endorsements in India), told IANS: “It’s a policy never to comment on brand deals. We’ve witnessed Freida’s phenomenal growth in such a short span, and that too on a global platform. Brand Freida stands for very rare, unique and irreplaceable values and imagery, making her the ideal choice for a brand with a global appeal and an Indian focus.”
Although it’s still unknown what fashion brand she’s signed for (if the rumors are to be believed), she has been seen with Calvin Klein Collection‘s Women’s Creative Director Francisco Costa (and wearing Calvin Klein) lately. Maybe there’s a hint there? When facts about this turn up, I’ll post it here. Stay tuned!
I have finally been able to get my hands on a copy of GQ India’s October issue! This means scans from the magazine (which is the annual Men of the Year-edition) for you all to enjoy. Freida Pinto is named their Woman of the Year (why wouldn’t she!) and therefore featured inside the magazine as well.
Unfortunately, the photos are old (from Vanity Fair, 2009) and the article is short without any new quotes. Still, she looks gorgeous and it’s always nice to see Freida in a new magazine! Click on the previews below to see them in bigger size.
As the fourth update for this special day – once again, Happy birthday, Freida! – I have added the first (French) poster for Black Gold to the gallery! It’s very simple, but cool and golden (duh), and will probably serve as a good first teaser poster for the movie.
Not only that, but the very first trailer has been released as well! Although it’s in French as well, you get the idea of the movie and Freida looks beautiful as Princess Lallah. I have added the screen captures to the photo gallery as well. Watch the trailer at French movie website Allocine.com!
Great news! One of this summer’s biggest movies (and surprises!) – Rise of the Planet of the Apes – is set to be released on Blu-ray and DVD on December 13 (and December 7th Internationally). From the Oscar-winning visual effects team that brought to life the worlds of Avatar and The Lord of the Rings came revolutionary new ground – a CGI ape that delivers a dramatic performance of unprecedented emotion and intelligence, and epic battles on which rest the upended destinies of man and primate.
The Rise of the Planet of the Apes Blu-ray is loaded with bonus material including deleted scenes, making-of featurettes commentaries and more.
