Freida Pinto Covers October Issue of Flare

Great news! Freida Pinto is gracing the cover of Canadian fashion magazine Flare‘s October issue! She looks absolutely gorgeous in red on the cover, shot by Max Abadian in New York on April 30th. The interview – which is new as well – has Freida talking about her love for fashion, boyfriend Dev Patel and how her life has changed over the past three years. A preview of the cover, as well as a video from behind-the-scenes, has been featured below.

Screen Captures from ‘Trishna’ Teaser Trailer

…and here are even more new trailer screen captures! This time from the very first teaser trailer for Trishna, the new movie by Michael Winterbottom (A Mighty Heart). The movie, based on Thomas Hardy’s classic novel Tess of the D’Urbervilles, stars Freida Pinto & Riz Ahmed and centers around a young woman who gets seduced by the wealthy son of a property developer. As the romance develops, their relationship also becomes increasingly sordid and volatile.

Trishna is one of the most-anticipated movies to premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. It’s scheduled for a screening on September 9, no word yet on whether Freida will attend the event or not (most likely will). Personally, this is the upcoming Freida-movie I’m most looking forward to. It looks absolutely beautiful and emotionally touching as well.

HD Screen Captures from Latest ‘Immortals’ Trailer

I have added HD screen captures from the latest trailer for Tarsem Singh’s Immortals, which was released a couple of days ago. Freida looks exquisite as the Oracle priestess Phaedra in the movie, and what better way to view her in than high definition! I’m really excited for this movie, November sure can’t come soon enough. Also in the movie; Henry Cavill, Luke Evans, Isabel Lucas, Kellan Lutz, Stephen Dorff and more.

First Teaser Trailer from ‘Trishna’ Released

The very first teaser trailer for Trishna has been released! While it has no speaking in it, it’s set to beautiful music (by Amit Trivedi) and stunning scenery with Freida Pinto and Riz Ahmed as the stars. Directed by Michael Winterbottom, Trishna is set to premiere on September 9 during the Toronto International Film Festival.

I don’t really know what to make of the story (since the whole trailer is set to music), but it looks to be beautifully shot and I’m definitely intrigued by it. Check it out below and let me know what you think!

Third ‘Immortals’ Trailer Released

A third trailer for Immortals has been released by MSN Movies! It features tons of action scenes (that, by the way, look awesome) as well as a few new quick glimpses of Freida Pinto’s character Phaedra. I’m really excited for this movie, 11.11.11 can’t come soon enough! Watch the new trailer for Immortals below.

First Photos of Freida Pinto as Trishna

I have a real treat for you today – the first pictures of Freida Pinto in Trishna! She stars as the titular character in this drama alongside Riz Ahmed (who you also can see with Freida in Black Gold later this year). The movie was directed by Michael Winterbottom, who set his unique spin on Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’Urbervilles against a contemporary Indian backdrop.
