I have added a brand new layout over at the Freida Pinto Video Archives! This is due to the fact that A) It was long overdue and B) I have modified the archives to be easier to navigate. Because not only is there a new look, but unnecessary stuff have been removed as well, for an easier viewing experience.

I also wanted to ask you. Are there any videos in particular you’d like to see in the archives? I will do my best to add more in the coming weeks, but suggestions are always welcomed! Looking forward to hearing from you, and I hope you will like the new look!

I have added HD screen captures from the Blu-ray edition of Rise of the Planet of the Apes to the gallery. One of the last year’s biggest movies stars Freida Pinto, James Franco and Andy Serkis in a multi-award nominated performance as the ape Caesar. I have added almost 100 pictures from last night’s 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards to the gallery. These include red carpet-photos, Freida on stage presenting Midnight in Paris, as well as HD screencaptures from the show. I have also added a video clip from the show to the video archive. As previously announced, Freida Pinto is set to present at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards tonight! She’ll presumably walk the red carpet before the show; and we will have all the coverage from the start to the finish! The Golden Globes will air live on NBC at 5pm (PST) / 8pm (EST), hosted by Ricky Gervais.

Update: The first pictures of a stunning Freida Pinto on the red carpet has arrived! She’s wearing Prada and Chopard jewels so expensive, she’s being followed by guards(!), she said.

Update: Freida just appeared on stage as she presented Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris as one of this year’s nominees for Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical.

It’s been announced that Immortals is set to be released on Blu-Rray (including the 3D version) and DVD on March 6! The film, directed by Tarsem Singh, stars Henry Cavill, Freida Pinto, Mickey Rourke, Stephen Dorff, Luke Evans, Isabel Lucas, Kellan Lutz and more. It earned $215 million at the worldwide box office.

The Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D versions will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, with the following selection of bonus features. Neither the Blu-ray 3D or Blu-ray 2D versions will include the DVD.

What a great way to start the new year; Freida Pinto was recently announced as one of the presenters at this year’s Golden Globe Awards! Joining her as the first ones announced to present are Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Nicole Kidman, Clive Owen, Melissa McCarthy and Natalie Portman.  The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Dr. Aida Takla-O’Reilly says: “We are thrilled to have these talented individuals join us. Each will bring something very special to this year’s show!”

The award show – hosted by Ricky Gervais -  will air live this Sunday, January 15. Freida Pinto Fan will, of course, provide you with media coverage of the show.

As mentioned on our Twitter-account (follow us for all the latest news and updates!), Freida Pinto attended the Chanel Bombay-Paris 2011/12 fashion show and dinner yesterday. The special event celebrated the mix of Indian culture and fashion mixed with the spirit of Chanel. Freida looked gorgeous in a light blue chanel dress as she posed next to Indian actress Sonam Kapoor and Chanel’s own Karl Lagerfeld among others.

The nominees for the 2011 International Press Academy Satellite Awards were unveiled on Thursday, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes got nominated twice! Not only did Andy Serkis get a much-deserved Actor in a Supporting Role-nomination for his portrayal of Caesar, but the movie got nominated (rightfully so) for Visual Effects as well. Huge congratulations to Andy and the effects team from WETA for their nominations. The winners will be presented with their awards on December 18.

I have (finally) been able to add new images to the gallery, I also had to tweak the layout a bit as I wasn’t able to log in at all. Hope everything looks okay to you all.

First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of updates as of late. I’ve been out of town (New York City, to be more specific) and without Internet access, except for the rare Twitter-updates I’ve managed to do. But we’re back now – with a brand new layout to boot!

For a more festive look to celebrate the winter and different holidays that still lies ahead, I have managed to come up with a new look featuring a beautiful picture of Freida Pinto from the photoshoot she did for Blackbook magazine last year. I will continue with the regular updates as well as update all the pages on the site with new information. You can look forward to a few new pages as well. Keep checking back for all that!
