Five new video clips from Miral have been released onto the web, thanks to French movie-site AlloCiné.com (click the link to view them all). Two of them feature Freida Pinto in her role as Miral, and both have been added to the video archive. Watch them here or after the cut. Miral will make its debut at the Venice Film Festival (on September 2) and Toronto International Film Festival (on September 13).

With the cover feature in T Style Magazine’s Fall issue, Freida Pinto also was interviewed for their Screen Test series. Freida discusses her childhood aspirations, her career thus far and her thoughts on the film industry. Be sure to check it out right away! She says some very interesting things and looks absolutely stunning in it.

A brand new trailer from Woody Allen’s upcoming dramedy You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger has been released. This one’s in English, without foreign subtitles, for the US. It features a few new clips of Freida Pinto as Dia so it’s well-worth your look. Check it out below!

The first trailer from Miral is finally here! The film – starring Hiam Abbass, Freida Pinto, Willem Dafoe, Vanessa Redgrave, Alexander Siddig and Makram Khoury – is an adaptation of Italo-Palestinian Rula Jebreal’s book about the real-life Palestinian woman Hind Husseini. She started the Dar Al-Tifl orphanage in Jerusalem in the wake of the 1948 partition of Palestine and the creation of the state of Israel. The movie will span the years 1948-1994.

Judging by the trailer (and the fact that it’s directed by Julian Schnabel!), i looks to be a great movie. And Freida Pinto looks absolutely stunning as Miral. Check out the trailer below!

The very first trailer from You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger has been released onto the web! Unfortunately it’s in Spanish so unless you speak the language it’s a bit difficult to understand. However it does contain a few scenes with Freida Pinto looking stunning as Dia so it might just be worth the watch. Check it out below. I will post an English one when available!

Before she got famous, Freida Pinto appeared in the music video for Indian artist Dal Hothi’s song “I Promise You”. I have added both screencaptures and the video to the site! She looks fantastic in it, and you can see that she’s no newbie when she’s in front of the camera. Enjoy!

As reported earlier, Freida Pinto, Dev Patel and Danny Boyle appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s annual After-Oscar Party. The interview took place in the Kodak Theatre and they talked about Slumdog Millionaire and attending the Academy Awards the day before. Check out screencaptures in the gallery, and a clip in the video archive!

On this morning’s Today show, two segments with the stars of Slumdog Millionaire aired. One of them being interviews with Freida, Dev, Danny and Anil on the day of the Oscars (yesterday). The other one had the entire adult cast and crew of the movie chiming in on the staggering eight Oscars! In this second interview, Freida also revealed that she will be working with Woody Allen on her next project. Check them out right away!
