Freida’s Elle Women in Hollywood 2011 Feature

Just as previously mentioned, Freida Pinto is featured as one of Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood this year (again, congrats Freida!) in their November issue. A picture along with a few quotes from the magazine itself have been published on the official website – and it is awesome. Freida looks fantastic in the cool photo, and I love the quotes released as well. Simply click on the preview to the right to see it in full size.

On being described as the “perfect obscure object of desire” by Woody Allen: “For me, it wasn’t trivializing, but it would be if I did that in film after film. It gave me the opportunity of exploring the woman I’m not.”

On being the older woman in her relationship with Dev Patel: “I don’t think the age factor is any kind of annoyance—I find him to be more of an old soul than I am. His wisdom comes from a place that’s very difficult to pinpoint: How did a 21-year-old think of that?”

Freida Pinto Covers the October issue of GQ India

The good news just keep on coming! Not only did Freida Pinto win GQ India’s Woman of the Year a week ago, but she is also on the cover of their special Men of the Year-issue for the month of October. She looks absolutely stunning in a gold dress, sharing the cover with other Men of the Year-winners Jyotiraditya Scindia, AR Rahman, Shah Rukh Khan and Kumar Mangalam Birla.

Freida Pinto on the Cover of Grazia’s October Issue

Not only did Freida Pinto win GQ India‘s Woman of the Year award, but she is also on the cover of Indian fashion magazine Grazia‘s October issue! She looks gorgeous (as always) in various designer pieces in the pictures, which she posed for at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.

Freida Pinto is one of India’s “Game Changers”

Freida Pinto has been named as one of India’s “Game Changers” by India Today! She’s currently on the cover with some of the other Indian celebrities on the list, seen to the right. Here’s what they had to say about Miss Pinto:

As a Rajasthani peasant girl seduced by a wealthy hotel heir in Trishna, Freida Pinto may shock Indian audiences with her graphic sexuality, but the role in the Michael Winterbottom film is her most substantial to date. Pinto may have finally stepped out of Latika’s shoes and shaken off the Slumdog Millionaire tag. In a startlingly short span she has starred in a multi-Oscar winning film and worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood-from Danny Boyle to Woody Allen, Julian Schnabel to Winterbottom-something even seasoned actors would give a sculpted arm and a toned leg for. With Trishna, which premiered at the Toronto film festival this month, Pinto has made critics sit up and take note, especially since she’s been dismissed as a gorgeous accessory for her bit roles so far, such as the one in the monster hit, Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Freida Pinto Covers October Issue of Flare

Great news! Freida Pinto is gracing the cover of Canadian fashion magazine Flare‘s October issue! She looks absolutely gorgeous in red on the cover, shot by Max Abadian in New York on April 30th. The interview – which is new as well – has Freida talking about her love for fashion, boyfriend Dev Patel and how her life has changed over the past three years. A preview of the cover, as well as a video from behind-the-scenes, has been featured below.
