Freida Pinto to be Honored at Elle Gala

Awesome news: Freida Pinto is set to be honored at the 18th Annual Elle Women in Hollywood Gala! Along with Freida, Jennifer Aniston, Michelle Pfeiffer, Viola Davis, Evan Rachel Wood and Naomi Watts are also among the stars being honoured by the fashion magazine for having redefined women’s roles in movies.

Barbra Streisand is receiving the L’Oréal Paris Legend Award, and Elizabeth Olsen the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award. The chief executive officer of film studio DreamWorks Stacey Snider will also get a prize.

“As has long been our tradition, this year we honour an extraordinary group of women who continue to redefine what is possible in Hollywood,” said Robbie Myers, the editor-in-chief of Elle. “From icons to stars to emerging talent, we are thrilled to celebrate their contribution to understanding what it means to be a woman in the wider world.”

The ceremony will take place at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills on October 17.
