Freida nominated for a BAFTA!

First of all I’d like to congratulate Freida for receiving a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Latika in Slumdog Millionaire! I can’t imagine the happiness Freida must feel for being honored – and for her very first movie!

Slumdog Millionaire received a total of eleven nominations; including best film, best British film, best director (Danny Boyle) and best actor (Dev Patel). The other movie to receive as many nominations as Slumdog was David Fincher/Brad Pitt’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
